About the Company

Our client is a high-growth, private equity-sponsored distributor of specialty pharmaceuticals helping life-saving products reach patients. Originally one of the largest distributors of pharma products for hemophiliacs, the Company has expanded into other therapeutic areas including oncology and ophthalmology. With the business expected to double revenues organically over the next two years, the Company is expanding and transforming its accounting and finance organization to support continued growth.

About the Role

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing pricing strategies to support revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning. This role partners closely with Commercial Finance & Sales teams to deliver data‑driven insights, pricing recommendations, and strategic analysis that enable informed business decisions. The Senior Pricing Analyst will act as a subject‑matter expert in pricing models, margin analysis, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analysis

  • Develop and refine pricing models to support strategic pricing decisions across product and customer segments

  • Conduct margin, elasticity, and scenario analysis to recommend optimal pricing structures and provide detailed explanations as to the drivers of the changes

  • Analyze competitive pricing and market trends to identify opportunities and risks

  • Act as integration point between Pricing and the Business teams

  • Lead process to develop new pricing elements and periodically review those already in place for areas of improvement

Business Partnering & Decision Support

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Commercial Finance to evaluate pricing proposals and customer deals

  • Provide financial insights to senior leadership to influence pricing strategy and commercial decisions

  • Prepare and present pricing analyses, dashboards, and recommendations

Tools, Data & Process Optimization

  • Enhance pricing tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities (Power BI, Excel, modeling tools, etc.)

  • Improve pricing governance, processes, and documentation

  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within pricing workflows

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, FP&A, or data‑driven analytical roles

  • Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI tools preferred

  • Ability to interpret complex data sets, draw insights, and communicate recommendations clearly to different levels of management

  • Proven ability to manage projects and initiate process improvement in a deadline driven environment

  • Ability to organize, work independently (in a remote setting) and deliver work on time

  • Strong business acumen and experience supporting commercial or customer‑facing teams

Preferred but not Required

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical or Specialty Pharmaceutical industries preferred

  • Familiarity with pricing strategies such as value‑based pricing, cost‑plus, segmentation, and elasticity analysis

  • Prior experience partnering with Sales or Product leaders

  • Experience working with Salesforce and SAP
