About the Role
As part of this next phase of growth, Unified is looking for a Director of FP&A who will lead and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting/forecasting, and analysis processes. This is an opportunity to join an industry-leading brand and work closely with the executive leadership team to provide critical insights and strategic recommendations that will drive the financial success of the organization.

This is a high-impact role that requires strong financial acumen, experience in database management and analytics, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Your fingerprints will be all over the FP&A function as it continues to evolve and scale.

Key focus areas

Lead the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting processes.

Provide financial analysis, insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Conduct variance analysis to assess actual financial performance against budget and forecast.

Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas of opportunity / risk.

Assist with month-end financial reporting and provide valuable insights on monthly variances to budgets.

Stand up intelligence reporting and Power Business Intelligence (BI).

Continue to improve and automate processes across the business.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant business-related discipline

Minimum 5 years of FP&A, investment banking, and related experience

Basic familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), a language used in Power BI

Ability to work within a matrix organization and effectively provide value-added analyses as a functional partner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to thoroughly synthesize data and simplify messages across teams

Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work collaboratively both with a team and independently

Relationship-driven and comfortable switching lanes in a fast-paced environment

System savvy and data-driven; comfortable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
