About the Role
● You will be the product manager responsible for Aktivate Connect, our mobile application, which coaches, parents and athletes depend on to manage communication, schedules, forms and other aspects of their team
● You will be empowered to solve customer problems in partnership with a product designer and a tech lead, and the way you’ll be measure is the by the outcomes you deliver (e.g. increased adoption, increased engagement)
● You will lead the product team (includes up to 6 engineers) through continuous delivery using a form of the the “Shape Up” methodology
● On a weekly basis you will be looking through common data analysis tools to watch for trends and extract actionable insights
● You will report to Aktivate’s Chief Product Officer and, as an integral member of the technology team, interact regularly with the Executive team and Senior Leadership team.
● Remote-first; required to work on a US (mainland) time zone (i.e., ET, CT, MT, or PT) with a strong internet connection; occasional travel, as required (e.g., quarterly / annual team offsites; customer interviews)

● You can run a Working Backwards workshop to align the teams and paint a convincing picture of the value created from your ideas and then use a PR-FAQ to guide the next release

Necessary Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
● Minimum of 5 years work experience working as a true Product Manager
● Launched at least three zero to one products in a B2C company that has creatively solved consumer problems with “wow” customer experiences
● Worked in seed-stage or series A startups (or zero to one products at dynamic larger companies where you were tasked with finding product-market-fit or go-to-market fit)
● Experience with partnering with marketing teams to improve the effectiveness of messaging and ads
● Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
● Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
