About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated VP, Strategic Alliances to develop and execute our regional and global system integrators strategy along with our strategic partners. Our Strategic Alliances team establishes and nurtures a key set of inriver partnerships, drives strategic alignment, creates joint solutions, and accelerates new business opportunities.
The VP of Strategic Alliance plays a highly visible and critical role in driving revenue growth for inriver and is part of the global sales leadership team. Reporting directly to the CRO, this role will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Sales leaders, Marketing, Customer Success as well as other key stakeholders.
This is a remote role based in Eastern or Central time zones; travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a global strategy and execution plan for partner / alliance development
- Provide team leadership and manage the company’s most important solution and value-added partnerships
Develop and maintain a community of strategic partners that support inriver’s growth targets
Own the partner experience, providing insights on the market and managing operational processes and excellence
Effectively guide partners through the entire life cycle from recruitment to revenue goals
Build strong c-suite relationships with partners
Optimize existing partnerships / alliances by identifying areas for improvement and expansion
- Forecast pipeline and revenue from partners on both quarterly and annual basis; set and track other KPIs to effectively manage the partners
- Support our partners and sales with customer acquisitions, conversion and retention targets, as appropriate
Qualifications
Successful track record in a strategic alliance or partner management role in the eCommerce or Content Management sector
Experience with technology partners (e.g. SAP, SFDC) and regional system integrators
Demonstrated ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders
Ability to manage, mentor and work well with a global team
Self-starter willingness to take action and calculated risks
Bachelor degree in a related field required
Ability to travel up to 50%
Experience in Cloud/SaaS sales and eCommerce technology providers or Content Management provider strongly preferred
